Foam Rubber

Foam rubber has multiple applications in the RC world. One of the most common uses for foam is to secure and protect batteries and electronics inside the battery compartment of electric RC planes. The foam material provides cushion while at the same time provides a non-slip surface so things stay put. In the gas/nitro world, foam is often used to protect sensitive electronic components and fuel tanks from vibration.
